5321 Removing Thorns
I am many miles and years removed from where I was born;
not so far I cannot return to that once upon my past
in person or memory to try and pull such thorns
as pain me still, regrets so deeply lodged I feel
they'll never go away. There are two paths to heal:
amends for damage, but then forgive to make me free at last
