Learning is lifelong, but it is core
for toddler to preteen. Time to pretend, to play,
to try on different clothes or a different role,
to embed your culture's knowledge and more.
But do not be serious, don't let your study weigh
So deeply that you lose your soul.

5321 Removing Thorns
I am many miles and years removed from where I was born;
not so far I cannot return to that once upon my past
in person or memory to try and pull such thorns
as pain me still, regrets so deeply lodged I feel
they'll never go away. There are two paths to heal:
amends for damage, but then forgive to make me free at last
